Usonia's "Change Your Mind or Change the Weather" is a unique red blend born from the challenges of the 2023 vintage in the Finger Lakes. As a result of a late spring freeze, this wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Grüner Veltliner, with smaller amounts of other varieties from both the Finger Lakes and Long Island. Fermented separately, it presents aromas of burnt orange peel and a savory, mineral-driven palate with fine tannins. This is a light, juicy, and chillable red that is a true reflection of the vintage and the producer's resilience.
