This special mezcal combines two Oaxacan traditions: pechuga, typically reserved for special occasions, and mole negro, the iconic sauce. Their mole negro is made from scratch over two days, using molcajete-ground chilis and Oaxacan chocolate, and added to the still along with dressed chickens for the final distillation. Textural, rich, with a long-lasting finish.
