This wine is a blend of two blocks from the Donnachadh Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills, which contribute to its distinct style. One block offers a lean and racy character from windswept, rocky soils, while the other provides a broader, more fruit-driven element from alluvial soils near the river.
It is a leaner, dry Chardonnay with crisp acidity, a citrus core, and an abv of 11.7%. The wine was aged for ten months in neutral French oak barrels.
