Farming: Estate-grown Blue Weber agave cultivated in the volcanic soils of the Tequila Valley, harvested at maturity.
Production: Agave hearts are cooked in stainless steel autoclaves, crushed using a roller mill, and fermented in open-air stainless steel tanks with native house yeast. Double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills with copper coils, then aged approximately 4–6 months in used American oak barrels, including former bourbon casks. No added flavorings or coloring.

Made by the Orendain family at El Llano, one of the oldest distilleries in the town of Tequila, Arette is a wonderful reminder that excellent tequila doesn't need a luxury price tag. Their Reposado spends several months resting in American oak, developing gentle notes of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, and baking spice while preserving the bright, earthy character of the agave. Smooth but full of personality, with a little peppery warmth and a pleasantly savory finish, it's equally suited to sipping neat or making a particularly good Margarita. A terrific everyday tequila from a family that's been doing things the right way for generations.
