Farming: Organically farmed; no herbicides or insecticides, with hand-harvested fruit from Auten and Barrow Vineyards.
Winemaking: Destemmed, crushed and partially whole-cluster fermented with native yeast in open-top fermenters. Aged for about two years in a mix of used French, American and Hungarian oak. Unfined and unfiltered.
A Finger Lakes Bordeaux blend with a little wild streak. Tart cherry, raspberry, pepper and earthy spice, wrapped up in bright acidity and silky tannins. Light on its feet but serious at the dinner table—basically, Cheval Blanc’s cool Finger Lakes cousin.
