Winemaking: Early-morning harvest, varying amounts of whole-cluster fermentation with indigenous yeast; 15–25 days of pumpovers and punchdowns, with some lots receiving extended skin maceration. Aged 18 months in neutral barrels and large oak casks; unfined and unfiltered with small sulfur additions.

Here, the Pacific Northwest takes a little trip to Italy and France. Bright cherry, dark berries, violets, black pepper and savory herbs come together in this juicy, medium-bodied red with plenty of freshness and just enough tannin to keep things interesting. A little earthy, a little sun-kissed, and extremely good with pizza and pasta.
