Farming: Certified Organic. Hand-harvested grapes grown in vineyards with calcareous loess, loam, and rocky soils.
Winemaking: The three varieties are co-fermented with a portion of whole grapes and a short maceration to preserve freshness and gentle tannins. Aged for approximately 18 months in neutral oak barrels, with a small addition of younger Zweigelt before bottling to enhance its bright fruit character.

Alwin and Stefanie Jurtschitsch are among Austria's most exciting winemaking couples, bringing a playful, experimental spirit to their family's historic Kamptal estate. Their Mon Rouge is a delightfully juicy blend of three local favorites, bursting with wild strawberries, tart cherries, pomegranate, and a little floral, herbal intrigue. Light on its feet with silky tannins and refreshing acidity, it's the sort of red that makes a compelling argument for keeping a bottle in the fridge. Serve slightly chilled with mushroom pizza, a plate of salty cheeses, or absolutely nothing at all. A very charming red!
