Winemaking: Hand-harvested with a portion of whole clusters, then fermented for about 12 days in open-top wood and stainless-steel vats. Aged in wood and older barrels before finishing in stainless steel.

Juicy, peppery, and wonderfully fresh, with blackberry, black cherry, violet, black olive, and a little smoky spice. Silky and medium-bodied, with supple tannins and plenty of bright, crunchy fruit. Northern Rhône Syrah without the heavy coat and serious face — just a really delicious bottle of peppery, savory red.
