Winemaking: Hand-harvested whole clusters are spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks using carbonic maceration, then aged for 8 months in large, neutral foudres. Unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulfur.

Deeply juicy but decidedly serious, with black cherry, raspberry, violet, cocoa, pepper, and crushed stone. Bright acidity keeps the wine lively, while fine tannins and a long mineral finish give it real structure and depth. This is Gamay with a little more muscle and a lot of personality — still wonderfully drinkable, but absolutely capable of keeping you at the dinner table for a while.
