Ripe raspberry, juicy cherry, and wild strawberry mingle with violet, cocoa, and a little peppery spice. Structured and savory but still wonderfully fresh, with bright acidity and fine-grained tannins. This is the more serious side of Gamay—deep and mineral without losing that irresistible Beaujolais drinkability.
